What to include with a custom heater enquiry
Physical Size
Inside/outside diameter, width, length, hole positions, cut-outs or a dimensioned drawing.
Electrical Details
Voltage, wattage and phase where applicable. Share the old heater rating label if available.
Connections
Lead length, terminal type, connector, straight/right-angle exit and the required connection position.
Machine Application
Machine type, heated material or medium, target temperature, quantity and whether the requirement is replacement or new design.
Replacement heater or new design?
For a replacement heater, the fastest route is normally to share the old heater photograph, physical dimensions and readable electrical markings. If the old heater is burnt or deformed, also provide the machine mounting dimensions so the new heater is not copied from a damaged shape.
For a new heating application, include the material or medium being heated, starting and target temperature, available voltage, desired heat-up time, insulation and available installation space. These details help determine the practical heater type and power requirement before manufacturing.
