Typical industrial uses
Air heating
Used in heater assemblies and ducts where air passes around a supported resistance element and the heater is selected according to airflow and required outlet temperature.
Oil tanks
Used in suitable tank-heating assemblies where the element is installed with the correct protective arrangement and heat is transferred safely to the process medium.
Industrial ovens
Applied in ovens and chambers as part of a controlled heating system, with wattage and element layout selected for the chamber load and airflow.
Laboratory equipment
Suitable for custom laboratory or test equipment that needs a simple ceramic-supported heater built to specific electrical and dimensional requirements.
Information needed for a bobbin heater
Provide the bobbin diameter, total heated length, voltage, wattage, terminal style and how the heater will be mounted. A photograph of the existing assembly is useful because the surrounding tube, airflow, tank or chamber affects the correct construction.
For new applications, share the medium being heated, operating temperature, available space and whether the element is exposed to airflow or installed inside a protective tube. These conditions affect element loading and the safe heater design.
Where an old bobbin heater is being replaced, do not rely only on overall length. Terminal position, ceramic section length and electrical rating should also be confirmed before manufacturing.
